Testimonials

I am delighted that the contract on my unit in Auchenflower, Qld is now unconditional and wanted to thank you for your fantastic service as well as your wonderful attitude.

I have achieved a price higher than that indicated by the real estate agent I was going to use, had a contract after just 3 weeks on the market AND I have saved over $12 000 in real estate commission as well as $3 000 in advertising. Thank you!

When I first started to consider selling privately, I knew nothing. It is amazing what you can find out when you begin researching and asking people for help.

Although I had a sign made up for the front of the property, as well as brochures and plans to give people during inspections, I knew the most powerful advertising was listing on realestate.com and domain.com.

Once I stumbled onto your services on the internet, I was confident I could sell privately.

Andrew, not only is your service unique and great value for money, you have personally been a great support - I’m sure you must work all week, answering enquiries and passing on information quickly.

I also appreciated talking with you and felt comfortable with your suggestions and trusted your efforts.

The number of enquires from these websites via PropertyNow far outweighed all other sources.

I will certainly use your services again and wish you all the best.

Dianne

Australian real estate body blow Print E-mail
The announcement last week that one of Australia's larger real estate portals was shutting down ( at least under it's current format ) isn't good news for real estate agents or the public

The site stood at around number 4 in the pecking order of real estate portals designed for agents. By most accounts it was behind realestate.com.au, domain and HomeHound but was seen as an up and coming player in the market and able to keep the front runners honest.

The closure of MyHome would leave too much power in the hands of the 2 larger portals yet again.
Whilst those are excellent sites the public and the agents needed the benefits that stem from the competition provided by another large real estate portal.

Despite MyHome being new ( around 18 months ) and needing refinement it had been showing steady improvement in terms of both it's public and agent interface.

Its daunting that a site with so much going for it could not survive longer and it is hoped that another business will take up the cudgels and provide the healthy competition that the australian real estate market needs.
