PropertyNow has once again opened a realestate.com account to add to its repertoire of sites for clients to be positioned on. Unfortunately because of the Terms of Service of the REA we are not permitted to place Private sellers on their site.
We will only be using the REA account in the short term for local clients who we undertake a much fuller range of services for. In the meantime we have written to the ACCC about the fact that it’s our perception that the conduct of realestate.com.au may be in breach of the Trade Practices ACT.
The moment that we are permitted to do so we shall be placing our private sale clients on the REA portal. For regular updates on our struggle to have our clients accepted on realestate.com.au as they are on 4 other major property portals in Australia - watch this space!
